What our customer's say!
"3 generations of fun", After my daughter opened her Qwirkle game at her birthday celebration, the whole family sat down to play it. Kids (6 & 9), parents, and grandparents all learned the rules quickly and had a great time playing together. My dad doesn't usually like to play games, but he made a point of saying how much he enjoyed this one. It has enough challenge for the adults to enjoy, but is easy enough for anyone old enough to know colors and shapes to play.
"Many level of Play!", It's been a month since we got this and we have so much fun with it. My 4 yr old love it, and we start with few rules to begin and slowly add more rules to increase complexity of the game. No score at the beginning we can slowly get up to that. I can't wait to play more with my older nieces to see how well this game played!
"Qwrikle", I bought this for my son (11 yr. old) but not only do I play it with him, I also play with my adult friends. Everyone likes this game. I like the product. It's well made, fun and easy to play. I would recommend it highly.
"Great Game for Adults and Kids", This game arrived very promptly and was well packaged. These grandparents had to try it immediately. We found it quite interesting and in its way challenging. Our four going five in November granddaughter and her parents arrived for the week-end. She found it fun--we didn't keep score--and I am sure we will play this with her many times in the future. She like her father thoroughly enjoys games. The adults also wanted to play the game again later after she went to bed and repeated the experience another time as well. Our son likened it to Scrabble (never his favorite game) without the letters--it least that was his excuse when we our scores were higher than his.
"If only we were a little smarter", I purchased this game for my 6 year-old and we now enjoy it thoroughly, but it has taken us a couple of tries to get the hang of the game. Specifically, we were unclear about the optimal patterns for the tiles. You may find that for a younger child, the game takes more time than the child has in attention span (by the end of the game, we're both a little bit ready for it to be over). The good news is that we work on math by keeping track of the scores (heh, heh, I love hidden learning). I think that if you stick with it, this game will be enjoyable through adulthood.

"Love this game.A+", My daughter brought this game down to us from Ohio. We live in SC and we played this game for two days. We love it! They bought one for my granddaughters too. They had a ball playing it. I recommend this game highly. Thanks for a great product for a change.
"Fabulous Board Game", This is a fabulous board game. My 7 year old grandchildren understood its concept quickly and can even beat the adults and the whole family is kept interested. Strategy involved and educational. Sure beats chutes and ladders, et al. We actually look forward to playing. The pieces are colorful and large enough to make it interesting. A bit pricey but strongly recommend the purchase.
"Very engaging", There is a good reason Qwirkle won the MENSA award for board games. It is a simple game to learn--TIC TAC TOE on steroids--but very engaging and somewhat addictive. Children can play it easily, and it would help younger children with shape and colour recogniton and space relations. It is a strategy game that involves a bit of luck and also teamwork when played with four or more players.
Qwirkle requires a fair amount of surface area on a table. You may think of it as a combination of TIC TAC TOE, [wordless] Scrabble and Dominoes in nature. You may also want to make sure you play it in sufficient light, as the red and orange tiles can be difficult to distinguish in poor light. Players who are colour blind may find Qwirkle difficult to play.
The game is simply but well made of painted wooden tiles that should last a lifetime. I highly recommend it as a very enjoyable and challenging game for both young and adult players. It is refreshing to play a game that involves no electronics, timers or dice.
"great cross-generational game", I played this with my 10-year old nephew and my 60-something parents. We all loved it. So I ran out to buy it for my 30-something friends. Great all around game.
"Qwirkle Is For Everyone!", Everyone in the family loves this game. It's not so difficult that the youngest can't figure it out . . . and it's a challenge for us old grandma types as well. I love playing with my ten-year-old grandson who holds him game piece over his head and smiles and says, "What's the name of this game, Grandma?", and then puts his piece in its place to make a Qwirkle! The adults enjoy playing without the kids as well.Qwirkle Board Game
